Adult Confirmation Preparation
Are you an adult Catholic, 18 years or older, who has not been confirmed? St. John the Apostle Parish offers Adult Confirmation classes during February/March every year. In 2020, classes will be held on Sundays, Dates TBD, from 10:00 am – 11:30 am.
You will need to bring proof that you have received your Baptism and First Communion. You will need a sponsor who has received all his/her sacraments. Adults will be confirmed at the Cathedral of St. Raymond in Joliet.

Baptism Preparation Class for Parents/Godparents
Parents and godparents must attend a special class in preparation for the baptism of a child. The class will address the significance of the sacrament, the responsibilities of Catholic parents and godparents, how the sacrament is celebrated at St. John the Apostle, and what to expect on the day of the baptism.
Generally, classes in English are held on the first Sunday of the month at 12:15 pm. and classes in Spanish are held on the first Saturday of each month at 10:30 am. Dates are subject to change -- You must register prior to attending the class, and you may do so by contacting the parish office at 630-279-7404 or Deacon Ron Madsen at 630-606-0476.
Marriage Preparation Program
Engaged couples need to be prepared for marriage in the Catholic Church: fulfilling the preparation requirement for first marriages as well as convalidations for those already civilly married.
