What's Happening ...
DIOCESAN RESTRUCTURING PHASE 3
Parishioners should plan to attend Parish Listening Session #2 on Thursday, November 7 at 7:30pm in the church (after 7pm Mass). Session 2 will be bilingual, will build on information shared in Session 1, and will include discussion of multiple scenarios. Parishioner feedback will be requested.

CATHOLIC CHARITIES HOLIDAY OUTREACH COLLECTION
From November 1 through December 8, our parish will collect Gifts for Teens
Suggestions: Hoodies, Lounge Pants for Guys/Girls, Owala Free Sip Water Bottle, Detangler Brush (by Lily England), Small Crossbody Bag/Purse, Adidas Sackpack, Beanie Hat, Soft Throw Blanket, Journal, Pillow Cloud Slippers, Bluetooth Speaker, Gaming Themed T-Shirts, Gaming Headset, Gaming Keyboard, Ultra slim Power Bank.
Gift cards ($15-25) from Amazon, Target, Walmart, Dunkin’ Donuts. Please put gift cards in an envelope marked “CC Holiday Outreach” and place them in the collection basket.
Please place your new and unwrapped donations in the decorated box in the church narthex beginning November 1st. Thanks for your generosity and support.

St. John the Apostle is a friendly place, as you have already experienced and it is an honor and a pleasure to serve at worship. If you have questions or would like more information about serving as a Lector, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, Altar Server, or volunteer in another capacity, please call/text Deacon Ron at 630-279-7433.
Adult Volunteers are needed to serve as Greeters for Reconciliation/Confession on Mondays from 5:00 - 6:00 pm.

St. John the Apostle has surpassed its 2024 parish goal of $21,500 through your donations and pledges. Please honor your pledge to help us reach our collected goal and earn a rebate back to the parish.
Thanks to 164 donors, through 10/07/24, the parish has earned a rebate in the amount of $5,802.
