MINISTERS OF CARE
If you are homebound and would like to receive Eucharist, please contact the Parish Office at 630-279-7404 and ask to be placed on the home visit list.
Ministers of Care bring the Eucharist and the compassion of our parish to the sick and homebound. Their purpose as a minister is to represent the community, to engage in a relationship with the sick, suffering, and homebound, and be a prayerful example of God’s presence. Training is provided.
If you are interested in serving as a Minister of Care, please contact the Ministry of Care Coordinator, Kim Ryan at 630-620-6070 or waltdisney1@aol.com.
Please note: Because of existing privacy laws, St. John the Apostle parish is not notified if a parishioner is hospitalized, home bound, or enters a health care facility. We must hear from the parishioner, family member, or friend if someone wishes the support of our pastoral care team. Contact the parish office.
