OUTREACH MINISTRIES

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.”   (Mt. 25:35-36)

Outreach is shared among many ministries of our parish for those who wish to participate in local service opportunities related to peace and justice initiatives as they arise throughout the year.

Opportunities to serve may include events such as: parish meals for those in need, assistance to the elderly and disadvantaged, the Holiday Meal / Food Outreach Program, Holiday Toy and Coat Drive, supporting Catholic Charities initiatives, working at Northern Illinois Food Bank, supporting a local food pantry, etc.

Events, fundraisers, and opportunities to serve are posted in the bulletin or on the narthex bulletin board.
