On February 13, 2025,  Bishop Hicks rendered this decision:

St. John the Apostle Parish will amalgamate into St. Alexander Parish in Villa Park. St. John the Apostle Parish will close its church and buildings, effective as of July 1, 2025.

On behalf of Father Rosenbaum and the entire parish staff, we want you to know how much we appreciate your consistent presence and participation in our parish community over the years from 1959 - 2025.

Father Rosenbaum invites you to continue your active engagement in our new parish of St. Alexander as we strive to live out our faith and mission as church.
